rotational grazing

Sustainable Land and Livestock Management

We follow the principles of regenerative rancher Greg Judy, implementing year-round rotational grazing to maintain healthy pastures and livestock.  Our cattle are moved to fresh paddocks daily—multiple times a day in peak growing seasons—ensuring they always have access to high-quality forage. In winter, we use a Greg Judy Bale Unroller to spread hay efficiently, mimicking natural grazing patterns and enriching the soil. Prioritizing animal welfare, we provide our herd with a stress-free environment and a nutrient-rich diet, ensuring their well-being while producing premium-quality, certified grass-fed and finished beef.

Our cattle thrive on a forage-based diet, which takes longer to finish but suits their natural digestive systems, leading to healthier animals and superior meat quality.

Beyond nutrition, rotational grazing plays a crucial role in environmental restoration by keeping pastures covered in diverse grasses, forbs and legumes. Grass-fed cattle rely on rain-fed forage, reducing strain on local water supplies. Our low stocking density eliminates manure buildup and pollution from synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and growth hormones, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that benefits the land and animals.
