about our farm
regenerating land, nurturing wildlife
We are currently stewards of 200 acres, transforming a depleted landscape into a thriving, regenerative ecosystem. With no existing infrastructure, we embraced the opportunity to build from the ground up—designing net-zero buildings, installing high-tensile electric fencing and generating solar power to operate sustainably. By learning from the most successful farmers and graziers, we try to minimize mistakes and maximize efficiency, ensuring every step we take benefits the land, our animals, wildlife and the future.
Our focus is on soil health, biological diversity, ecosystem resilience and stability. We are committed to regenerative practices, keeping the ground covered in perennial grasses and legumes to help sequester carbon, reduce erosion and improve water retention. Annual plantings of native trees, shrubs and wildflowers restore habitat corridors in old fence rows, providing essential food and shelter for local wildlife. In a conscious effort to protect ground-nesting birds—like the threatened Bobolinks—we have eliminated haying, prioritizing habitat over harvest.
Our pastures are certified organic, completely free from insecticides and herbicides, ensuring a safe and thriving environment for all creatures that call our farm home. Through innovation, dedication, and a deep respect for nature, we are not just farming—we are restoring balance to the land.
